Happy Thanksgiving from the team at Brown Financial Security.
We are grateful to have you as clients and friends.
It’s been an unprecedented year with so many challenges stemming from the COVID19 pandemic. We’ve also heard many positive and uplifting stories from you and others in our community about adapting and rising above these challenges.
We hope that you have a few moments this weekend to reflect on those things that you are grateful for and that you can find a way to share that gratitude with others (however distanced).
Speaking of sharing, our team at BFS has been a supporter of Neighbour to Neighbour (N2N) Centre for many years (www.n2ncentre.com ). N2N supports families in the Greater Hamilton Area with practical programs, education, counselling and a food bank. This year we’ve increased our support. If you are interested in supporting N2N Centre you can contact us or donate directly here (https://www.canadahelps.org/en/dn/31344).
For those of you interested in digging into some financial information this weekend here are a few articles that caught our eye recently:
- https://bit.ly/2SF8sq7 – Jurrien Timmer from Fidelity Investments writes about the US Presidential Election and potential impacts on investment markets.
- https://tgam.ca/2SIa2HM – Tim Cestnick from the Globe and Mail gives some good insights into the tax implications of working from home.
Have a great weekend and get in touch anytime.
